Jetpack debugging page: "your site cannot communicate properly with Jetpack."

  • I’m having trouble with Jetpack (I am unable to add a certain self-hosted www.remarpro.com site to “My Sites” on my wordpress.com user), but I cannot run debugging because the Jetpack debugging page displays: “your site cannot communicate properly with Jetpack.”

    I’ve followed the diagnostic steps on the page to rule out:

    1. A known issue. …
    2. An incompatible plugin….
    3. A theme conflict. …
    4. A problem with your XMLRPC file. …

    Any help on the “cannot properly communicate” issue would be VERY MUCH appreciated!
