• Hi folks,
I took over a site from another developer and it is using divi theme and jetpack among other things. Tow things I never use.

It had a slide on the front page that was being cropped so I tried a couple of edits to the custom css under Appearance/Edit Css . These were not working.
So I dug in and looked all through Divi and Jetpack to try to determine where this code was. I found it on the outside using ‘Inspect Element’ but to no avail via Divi or Jetpack.

I installed Search and Replace plugin and it found the code in the column post_content_filtered under the table wp_sampleprefix_posts used by Jetpacks custom css.

It seemed to work but when I cleared the Wordfence cache the code reverted and suddenly the old code was visible in the Custom css editor.

So I changed it manually there and resaved and now all is well.

I fiured it out while I was filing this support request.
I decided to finish this here so people are reminded to clear wordfence cache when Jetpack’s custom css is not working correctly.
