Our site uses the Nuntius theme that comes with and uses a slider to view sticky posts on the main page.

We recently updated the jetpack plugin, would have been done sooner but another plugin (which has been deactivated and deleted) was preventing updates from showing; that is an unrelated issue but an explanation on why we are so late to update this plugin.

If you go to our site (fantasyassembly.com) you’ll notice that the slider controls are no longer below the feature image on the slider, they are stretched across the middle of the feature image and the width of the page.

This happened right after I did the update for the Jetpack plugin When I disable jetpack, the slider controls move back to the proper location but I can not leave jetpack disabled as there are a number of widgets included with it that I need.

I tried disabling, deleting and reinstalling Jetpack but that did not work.

I don’t know if it is an issue with Jetpack or the theme I am using. I posted on the Nuntius support page and a poster gave me a CSS work around, but I am CSS illiterate and wouldn’t know where to start. This is our only problem, everything else functions perfectly.

Any help or advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

If someone from the Nuntius forum gave you some CSS to fix it, I’d try that first. You can use Jetpack’s Custom CSS module to insert it.

First, go to Jetpack > Settings and make sure the Custom CSS module is enabled. Once it is, go to Appearance > Edit CSS. Paste in the CSS and save it, like so:

Let me know if that works! ??

That link was what I needed, I wasn’t sure exactly where to go to insert the code.

All fixed, thanks for your reply.
