    Good morning,

I am hoping you can help, we create clients in Jetpack CRM and then it should auto generate the WordPress User from there, once it has auto made the user we then raise a ticket in Awesome Support to manage our IT / Print jobs.

However, sometimes this is failing to generate/create (and yes we can confirm that it is a brand new customer so it’s not like they’re already there). Some instances I am being forced to go into WordPress and “re-make” the client manually in WordPress. Once I have done this Jetpack CRM immediately marries them up but this causes delays / problems in productivity.

Is there anything I should be aware of, any glitches etc currently happening? It seems to happen more so with gmail.com email addresses if that has anything to do with it?

    Help please ??

Just to be clear this is the error we get

“Error: User already exists or invalid email!”

    Hello @abcserviceuk,

Just to make sure I understand the issue:

    • you setup CRM to auto-generate WordPress account to tie with Awesome Support?
    • in some instances, you get the “Error: User already exists or invalid email!”
    • when that happens, you need to manually create the WordPress account, meaning that the email address tied to the contact does NOT already exist.

Is that correct? While you reply on my question, can you try temporarily deactivating all your plugins but Jetpack CRM and its extensions, and check if the problem gets fixed that way? If it works, then reactivate each plugin one by one to find out which one is causing problems.

Let me know what you find out!

Hiya, yes that is correct, it’s like Jetpack CRM freaks out sometimes.

As soon as i make the contact in WordPress Users itself it picks it up and links them absolutely fine!

What I would like as well though is to be able to make the Contact in Jetpack CRM and also be able to use the Customer within WooCommerce with their address filled and everything if at all possible?

The problem i have with your method is that it’s not happening every time, so disabling the plugins means that I would have a non-functioning website for a potentially long period of time as it’s happening randomly.

    Kind regards

    Hi @abcserviceuk,

Thank you for explaining the issue further.

The problem i have with your method is that it’s not happening every time, so disabling the plugins means that I would have a non-functioning website for a potentially long period of time as it’s happening randomly.

Would you confirm that you are currently on Jetpack CRM v.6.0.0?

If so, we’ve identified a bug where generating WP user on Jetpack CRM v.6.0 will output the error message Error: User already exists or invalid email!.

Our developers are working on a fix, which we hope to release in the next version of Jetpack CRM soon.

Would you confirm that the issue started when you updated to Jetpack CRM v.6.0? For now, downgrading to the previous version temporarily (by picking the older version at the bottom of this page) should fix the issue.

I look forward to seeing the update that fixes/tweaks this ??

    Many thanks!
