I’m using Jetpack for WooCommerce taxes. Site Health always shows this:

    Wpcom Connection TestJetpack

A healthy connection ensures Jetpack essential services are provided to your WordPress site, such as Stats and Site Security.

Error The Website Care Plan Welcome Packet is not connected.: 200

    We recommend reconnecting Jetpack

It’s already connected. If I disconnect it and reconnect it, it still shows this. How do I get this message to clear?

    Followup, here’s what I’ve tried:

    • xmlrpc.php isn’t blocked
    • Cloudflare is paused
    • Turned off WP Rocket
    • Disabled other plugins
    • Deactivated and reinstalled Jetpack

Now it’s showing that it is disconnected, every time I check it. I would really appreciate some help here…

    Hey there,

When examining your connection on our end, we see that your site is connected.

That being said, there is an issue with the REST API request with the blog token:

http_request_failed: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 5001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

At this point, I’d recommend contacting the hosting and asking them to allowlist Jetpack IPs as listed here:

Please let us know if that helps.

    Thank you!

I added these IPs and also found that my host was blocking xmlrpc, I’ve unblocked that.

    Hi @redkite,

I added these IPs and also found that my host was blocking xmlrpc, I’ve unblocked that.

Great job, thank you for informing us. Although, we’re still experiencing the same issue that Paulina previously reported. After investigating further, it appears that the iThemes Security Pro plugin is currently active on the site. Could you please ensure that Jetpack IPs are added to the allowlist in this plugin as well? While I’m not very familiar with this plugin, you should be able to find more information on this topic here:

Please let me know if you’re able to complete this step and if it helps resolve the issue.

Thanks, it’s been working fine since I made the change at my host.

@redkite Excellent, glad to hear it. I’m going to mark this as resolved.

Hi! I am experiencing the same issue with my connection for a few weeks now : Site’s Health says my site needs to reconnect to Jetpack, but my Jetpack dashboard says it is connected, and my stats and all functions are fine. I have tried to reconnect numerous times to no avail.

I have tested deactivating plugins, and the conflict seems to come from Really Simple SSL plugin. But I really need SSL on my site, as it is transactionnal. Any cue on which function of the plugin could interfere with Jetpack?

    Thanks!

***Edit : I found and fixed the problem. In the hardening settings, I unchecked XML-RPC deactivation, and it worked. Now, is this critical for my site’s security?***
