I am running the PixelPower theme and when I have comments by JetPack enabled, I get a “Page Not Found” error when trying to submit a comment.

I type the comment, enter my name/email, etc. and hit submit… it says “Submitting Comment,” then results in a page not found error within an iframe where the comment box is located.

Any ideas why this is happening? didn’t work to change the theme or deactivate all plugins…

I can add comments, only when I’m logged in. Logged out users or visitors can’t leave a comment.

When I view the frame source, it shows up as:

    https://www.mydomain.com/%5ehttp:/xx.xxx.xxx.xx/?for=jetpack

The ‘x’s are my IP address.

I can’t really tell what’s happening based on the information posted so far. As a first troubleshooting step, I would recommend temporarily switching to the default theme and deactivating all plugins except Jetpack and then testing comments. If they work, switch the theme back and test again. If they still work, switch on the other plugins one by one until you find the conflict.

I facing this problem too. I can’t leave comments, neither logged in nor logged out.

Anyone found the cause of this?

The issue was determined to be some incorrect .htaccess rules in my case. I would suggest checking your .htaccess file for problematic rules.

    Had a similar issue recently.

Basically you know when you have to sync Jetpack with a www.remarpro.com account? When it does that it saves the link to your website to your www.remarpro.com account for some STUPID reason.

Happened to me for a site I was working on locally. worked fine of course for me, but for anyone outside of our office, it was broken.

You will need to disconnect and reconnect jetpack to update the path.
