Jetpack causing 50 open sql task and site failure

    I have an installation running wp 4.7.3 and latest version of Jetpack. Last week my site vas running slow and in the end not responding at all. Now i get the respons Database Error. My host provider tell me that the Jetpack plugin is causing some 50 requests to the sql server and the requests stay open until Jetpacks is deactivatd and the requests is “killed” manually. Is this a known issue? The installation vas moved to HTTPS protocol last week. Could this be a possible explenation? I have some 70-80 installations running Jetpack, but the problem is only on this one instalation running secure protocol. I have plugin Easy HTTPS (SSL) Redirection activated. All other plugins are similar to installations running Jetpack without problems.

    Additional info on the issue: Looks like the database request error is related to the Jetpack contact form function. Tested active plugin but no contact form on any page/post, and the installation works fine. After inserting Jetpack contact form om a page, response Database Error is back.

    Followup: My host provider tells me the open database recuests caused by Jetpack is back, even if there is no contact form active on the page at the moment.
