Jetpack Carousel issues after transferring site to new host

So I am taking over management of a multi-user site that has been migrated from host A to the new host B… I can’t prove you with links because the pages are all password protected.

Here’s the issue: In every post, the client uses the Jetpack Carousel to display images in galleries… While 99% of the image thumbnails show up and function properly, there are a few on every post in every Carousel gallery that do not — it just shows the question mark for a missing image. If you click on the question mark, however, the images will show up at full size without a problem.

Does anyone know why this would happen and if there is a way to resolve this for several hundred posts? Thx
