When I try to connect to Google+ at Sharing Settings, I get this error.
    “Connection Disabled”
    https://public-api.wordpress.com/connect/?disabled

Other SNS works fine, but only Google+ doesn’t.

I tried things below, but haven’t solved the problem yet.
-deleted Google+ account and started over
    -changed the browser
    -checked server settings
-disabled Jetpack and reconnected to my wordpress account
    -stop anti-virus soft

It worked once yesteday, but suddenly “Connected as: XXX ” disappeared at Sharing Settings, and never work again.
Only I can think of is that I deleted cash on Chrome, but I don’t know if it can be the cause.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

We’ve indeed had to disable new Publicize connections to Google+, for the reasons @easytipz mentioned above: Google+ made some changes to their settings screen and it’s currently not possible to change connected apps’ privacy settings anymore. As a result, even if you were to make a new Publicize connection to Google+, the posts would only be visible to you.

We’ve contacted Google+ about this, and we’re working with them to find a work-around. I’ll post again here as soon as I have some news.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

can jetpack Publicize connect to more social network, or have a option to connect more social network. 6 social network now is so small.

Which Social Networks would you add to the existing list of Publicize services? We can see about adding them, if they offer the tools allowing us to automatically post there, and if other Jetpack users are interested in posting to that Social Network.

Instagram doesn’t allow direct publishing via their API, so it won’t be possible to add that service I’m afraid.

Pinterest, on the other hand, has opened their API so this would be possible. We’ll consider it, and you can follow our progress here:

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Hi there,

    I have good news!

A few weeks ago, Google+ made some changes to their API. In doing so introduced some issues with Publicize. The module still worked, but the updates posted by the WordPress app on your Google+ Profile or Google+ Page were only visible to you.

In the past few weeks, we’ve worked with Google+ to start using a new API. That API works just like the old one, with one exception: publicized posts are now public. You can’t change the visibility of publicized posts to “My Circles”, or anything else.

If you’re happy to have Publicize publishing public posts to your Google+ Profile or Page, you can follow the instructions below to delete your old connection, and then reconnect your Jetpack site to your Google+ account:
    https://jetpack.com/support/publicize/google/#reconnecting

    I hope this helps.

@bannvph00701 Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1. Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2. Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4. Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5. Click the “Contact Support” button to send us the debug results privately. It’s best not to post this information on public forums, as it contains private details about your site.

    Thanks!

    @vnfunz

Could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?

Thanks for sharing with Jeremy Herve. I like the Jetpack plugin but when enabled it slows down the page load speed quite a lot. And I do not like this! ?? This is my site :
