Our WordPress plugin page was experiencing loading issues ever since we installed Jetpack. After thorough investigation and reaching out to our hosting provider, it was determined that Jetpack was generating excessive admin AJAX requests, causing the plugin page to fail to load properly, as well as affecting other website functions. For your reference, I have attached a video and picture showcasing the problem.

  • Hi @ecoshopn

I’m not sure what tests your hosting provider carried as that was unclear in the parts of your chat with them that you shared.

Watching the video you shared, it looks like what you’re experiencing in a prolonged white/blank page/screen when you attempt to view some of your wp-admin pages.

I would recommend carrying out a test for yourself to verify your host’s claims. Could you try deactivating all your plugins excluding Jetpack to see if the issue persists?

Another plugin could be causing the issue, but Jetpack’s failed requests (due to the issue arising elsewhere) are more evident, making it seem like Jetpack is the cause.

You can use the Health Check plugin to do this troubleshooting in a manner that isn’t disruptive to your site’s visitors. More on that in this article. If you have a staging site for testing, even better.

Using profiling tools/plugins like Query Monitor can help you better analyze your site’s performance, identify bottlenecks and performance issues, and understand which plugins are actually slowing down our WordPress site.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello @ecoshopn

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no actvity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
