It’s been ok for a long time not until recently after few Jetpack updates. No other major changes on the site for awhile. PHP/WP memory is set to no limit and there’s plenty of RAM to spare.

The front-page and the rest of the pages loads as per normal quite quickly few ms but the admin toolbar loads only after 4-5 seconds which can be seen from the browser’s Developer Tools Waterfall. Disabled the admin toolbar and everything loads quickly. Also wp-admin dashboard stuffs loads only after 4-5 seconds.

So we started disabling the plugins one by one and when Jetpack Boost gets deactivated, everything returns to normal. Only CSS and CDN is turned on from Jetpack Boost. Also have tried disabling everything in Jetpack Boost but the issue persist. Seems the issue here is with Jetpack Boost.

    Hi @nazar78,

It sounds like you’re experiencing slowdowns in the admin area when Jetpack Boost is activated. To investigate this further, could you please enable Jetpack’s debugging mode and then navigate to the Boost Debug page within your dashboard?

You’ll find the steps on how to do this in the Jetpack Boost documentation. Here’s what you need to do:

    1. Go to the Jetpack Boost settings page in your WordPress admin area.
    2. In the Jetpack Boost menu, locate and click on “Debug”.
    3. Follow the instructions to enable debugging.

After you’ve enabled it, please look for any errors or warnings displayed on the Boost Debug page that could be related to the slowdown. If you need further assistance interpreting the debugging information, feel free to reply to this thread with the details.

Additionally, it would be helpful to check your server’s PHP error logs for any relevant entries that coincide with the issue you’re experiencing. If you find anything, please share that information here.

Lastly, make sure that your WordPress installation, along with all plugins and themes, are up to date to ensure compatibility with the latest version of Jetpack Boost.

    Thank you!

Hey @nazar78 just jumping in to mention that we released Jetpack Boost 3.4.4 today. Could you try updating to that version to see if the site is still slow?

    Hi @nazar78,

I apologize for the incorrect information in my previous message. Jetpack Boost does not have a debug page. Please disregard those instructions.

Let us know if updating to Boost 3.4.4 as @dilirity suggested helped.

    Thank you!

    Hi all,

The Jetpack Boost was disabled and upgraded automatically to the latest 3.4.4. Tried enabling it and it seems to be back working as normal. Not sure what’s the root cause but the update definitely fixed the issue.

    Thanks again for the replies.
