Jetpack Boost Image CDN & Hotlinking

    Does anyone know if having the image CDN turned on in the Boost plugin block image hotlinking? I can’t replicate the issue, but a client shared a screenshot where they sent a link to the website in Facebook Messenger and instead of a preview image, it showed an image that says “Stop, this image was hotlinked”. There is no other plugin on the site that would be blocking image hotlinking.

    Thanks for reaching out. Can you give me some more details on the issue? Which CDN service are you using? Is the problem happening for the website you mentioned in your message?

    Where is the website hosted? Did you check with the web host to see if they have an active Hotlink prevention service for the website?

    Feel free to share any other details which could be relevant in debugging the issue.
