I added JetPack Boost to a site using wpDiscuz for comments. Because of problems with the drop down menus, I did not activate the CSS Optimization function, only the JAVA script and lazy load functions, and I turned off the html process on the wp-optimize.

When I activated Boost, I lost the ability to see or post new comments using wpDiscuz. I turned off that plug in and commenting works as normal.

Any advice on how to make the two plugins play nice together would be appreciated.

    Hi Maria,

    Thanks for reporting the issue!

I tried wpDiscuz out with Jetpack Boost and the plugin seems to work – I can post and view comments. Are there any steps I should take to reproduce the issue?

The site is running Graphene theme 2.8.4, Running plugins include Updraft, Wordfence, Fastest Cache and Wp-Optimize, the later with the minify html option turned off. Is that useful?

Can you temporarily activate the plugin so that I can see the issue live on your site?

I can activate it for 30 minutes right now, but will have to change it back after that I will have to change it back. I have activated it now.

And now the comments are working and I have absolutely no idea what changed between yesterday and today.

    ?? ?? ??

Looks like it might have been related to caching.
