    Hello
I have been using the Blog Stats widget of jetpack for many years, and since I switched to theme 20-22 on my wordpress Mu 5.9, I can’t find it anymore. Is there a way to find it or to replace it by a short code?
    Thanks for your help.

  • Hi @ataubin

I’ve seen you’ve mentioned not finding the Jetpack Blog Stats widget after switching to the Twenty Twenty-Two theme; however, I’ve tested this, and I’ve been able to find the widget. Are you inserting that one using Full Site Editing? I’d appreciate it if you sent a screenshot of where you are expecting to find that one, so we can advise further.

You can use a service like Imgur or Snipboard for that.

    Hi @muffinpeace

I try to do it with Full Site Editing, but I can’t find it in the Gutenberg editor for articles or pages either. I don’t have the “top posts” widget either but it works with the short code [jetpack_top_posts_widget].

Here is a screenshot of the widget area :

If I type “stats” in the search box it doesn’t find the widget either.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello @ataubin,

I did some testing at my end too, and I was able to see the Stats block widget after enabling the following Widget options:

    – Make extra widgets available for use on your site including subscription forms and Twitter streams
    – Enable widget visibility controls to display widgets only on particular posts or pages

You can find them on the Jetpack settings under Writing:

    https://YOURSITEURL/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/writing

Give it a go and let me know how you get on!

    Hi

These options were already activated. I have exactly the same problem on a test site (wordpress 5.9, theme 20-22). I tried disabling all other plugins and still no widget. https://www.lyceecfadumene.fr/test/

Is there a short code I could use instead until I solve my problem?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi @ataubin

The Jetpack Extra widgets are not working on your end because your site is not connected to the Jetpack systems correctly.

While debugging your site, the system shows an error: Invalid response code: 429.

The HTTP 429 Too Many Requests response status code indicates the user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time (“rate limiting”).

You need to contact your hosting support once more and ask them to fix it for you.

Then, contact us back to check your Jetpack connection.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    My best regards,

    Michelle
