Jetpack and WP-Polls

  • Hi Lester,

    It seems WP-Polls stops working since he Jetpack update.

    Jetpack is used by a lot of people and I’m not that techy, so I like to know if there’s a way to use jetpack with your cool and awesome plugin? Or does it mean, we have to use one or the other? I saw your links on another post on here and I like to know what you think? I LOVE to be able to use both but I can’t afford deleting Jetpack as it is vita to our site and your plug in is awesome! Any help? ??

    I am not too sure why it happens to you though. It works on two of my sites with Jetpack installed and WP-Polls. Are you getting this JS error? https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/1771?

    No, it just does not function well where I cannot add a question or modify an existing poll. The way to go around it is to deactivate jetpack (which is a big hassle to activate it on) create a poll and then activate jetpack on again and that means the created poll cannot be modified since jetpack is on. :/ Two other people mentioned the same exact problem in a different post. Not sure if it can be solved. I hope you will find a way ??

    I will probably need more users to chime in on this since it works fine on my 2 sites with Jetpack. Since the plugin has not been updated since December, it is unlikely it breaks itself.

    Exact problem here. Like Wafwaf, if I deactivate Jetpack, I can edit polls. Otherwise is impossible.
