I just started using the new subscription box on my site, I was using feedburner before. The WP plugin says ‘There was an error when subscribing, please try again.’

I have not turned feedburner off, because I have subscribers with that, that I don’t want it to effect, I have taken the widget off while the jetpack one was up.

Are the two not going to work together, or does one have anything to do with the other?

My site is https://theredneckprincess.net. For the time being I will put the feedburner widget back on. ?? Thanks for your help.

  • We still have a problem too.. any solution about it?

yes, you just have to turn it off, no other solution…

If you could list the following, it would be very helpful:

    – What is the exact problem you are running into?
    – What browser are you using when the problem occurs?
    – What other plugins are you using?
    – What versions of Jetpack and WordPress are you using?

    Hello friends!!!
I have a problem. When somebody subscribe in my web (sathyasai.org.ec), it suppose to send an email confirmation. But didn′t happens.

I guess because this guys tried more than one time to do it. But, the question is: “there is any solution for those who have tried to subscribe more than one time”, because they are not receiving the email confirmation.

    Thank you…

@hanny.juez: it looks like you have not connected Jetpack to WordPress.com (there should be a notice about this when you activate the plugin). Some Jetpack features, like Subscriptions, will not work without this connection.

Hi Tim!!! Very happy to receive you support.

The Jetpack-Subscription is already working since 2 months ago.

I guess many people tried to subscribe more that once with the same email. So, this plugin only send one email confirmation (Follow) per email adress.

Also, they can not find the email confirmation (Follow) neither in the inbox nor in the spam.

So, how we can help them?

i started to have this problem since last month, can someone help?

Hi Tim – Answers to your questions below:

    – What is the exact problem you are running into?

    My site is theonering.net btw

None of our posts are being sent to our subscriber list. When someone goes to subscribe via the widget they get the message ‘There was an error when subscribing, please try again.’

    – What browser are you using when the problem occurs?

I am using Safari – however I have reports from our users from ALL browsers.
