Jetpack and other statistics plugin find my site inaccessible.

  • I believe I read this here that it has something to do with the xmlrpc.php file. I contacted my hosting provider Hostgator and they fixed the permission as 644 on that file.
    I deactivated all other plugins and activated Jetpack. Just one more step they say, just one more step, but when I click on connecting Jetpack to WordPress, they say that the site is inaccessible to them.

    Please tell me how to fix this.
    I hope the site isnt inaccessible to Google, too because Google hasnt indexd me yet.
