JetPack and other plugins not/partially working

  • Weird- I think I may be encountering a jQuery/javascript conflict, but not sure. Some parts of JetPack (Site stats) are working, but the share module is not. Additionally, I’ve been trying to install a slideshow plugin, (WP-Cycle with Captions, Slideshow by Stephan Boonstra) but only parts of either of them are working as well. In my footer, I have some custom jQuery, which, (set to no-conflict mode) is working. Have deactivated/activated all plugins, switched themes, checked to see if WordPress’ jQuery is loading, which it is. I have also tried shortcode and php insertion modes of implementation, to no avail. I have deregistered and registered jQuery in the past, but was trying to avoid it this time, and rely on WordPress’ copy, as I’m not even sure if this is the real issue.

    WP-Cycle is currently activated, but not implemented in code.

    Any help, suggestions, greatly appreciated.
