jetpack and cloudflare

If you have followed the steps from that document, everything should be working fine. If you are, however, using Cloudflare (with additional security rules), you may want to check this page:

I’ve already whitelisted jetpack on cloudflare, adding on cloaudflare firewall: AS number 2635 in allow
my problem is exactly the opposite: jetpack protect often blocks my movements when uploading images or audio from wordpress mobile app (or via browser), blocking the ip of cloudflare (precisely because jetpack sees the ip of cloudflare, not mine). I also set the ip ranges of cloudflare, but it seems that jetpack does not take this into account (maybe the renge is very high)

Hm, Jetpack seems to be seeing everyone visiting your site as the same IP. Probably a mis-configured reverse proxy on the server, but we have a way around that.

I made that change on our end, and it will take about 5 minutes to take effect. Please let us know how it is after that!

maybe a good idea to add all cloudflare ip range to jetpack whitelist:

Thanks for the update. Can you try contacting Cloudflare support and ask them to ensure they are sending the proper headers for your site?

I’m on free cloudflare plan, and it doesn’t send true client ip headers, support only on enterprise plan.

You’re likely not going to be able to use Protect properly until Cloudflare assists you in correctly reporting your IP address. We have lots of users who use Cloudflare with Jetpack, so I’d recommend pushing back on their support with this issue.
