• Hello. I ran into this issue on my wife’s site https://bit.ly/10zADmK after the most recent updates of WordPress & Jetpack. I received 500 errors when trying to publish a post, when trying to delete a post received a message saying trash error. Though both worked! Also 500 errors when commenting on a post, which would not work. When I tried deactivating all plugins Jetpack was the only one that did not work and gave a 500 error. When trying to delete or disconnect from WordPress I also received 500 errors.I also lost my widgets page. I manually deactivated all options for Jetpack & everything seemed to work except 500 error when trying to comment on a post. I have since deleted Jetpack plugin through FTP and everything is back except when people try to comment on a post it still gives 500 errors??? Even though Jetpack has been deleted. Have been dealing with this problem for a week, unfortunately I am not a code genius & support was closed. I LOVE Jetpack and am hoping someone has a solution fast. Please help.

    Hi,

I’m not sure exactly what is going on. Since you don’t have jetpack installed anymore, I’m not sure if the issue is related to Jetpack per se. For the 500 errors, the best way to troubleshoot those would be to look at your error logs around the time you have those errors. Your host should be able to help you with that. Let me know what you turn up!
