Jetpack 2.3.3 installation problem (permissions)
-
Install WP v3.6 today on a subdomain Everything looks and works fine.
Wanted to install jetpack.2.3.3.zip via admin panel “install plugin” but get error: Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads. Is its parent directory writable by the server?A not uncommon problem with previous version and a solution of removing a leading /fronthesaveupload path. in Setting of admin panel.
Unfortunately there is no such option in WP v.3.6
I have not checked the actual permissions and owner as I would expect the WP installation process to have set these correctly.
Anyone any suggestion please?
