    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Your site doesn’t seem to be properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment. Could you try the following:

    1) Go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard
    2) Click on “My Jetpack” at the top of the page.
    3) Click on “Disconnect Site from WordPress.com” if your site is currently connected to WordPress.com.
    4) Confirm the disconnection.
    5) Click on the Connect button to connect your site to WordPress.com again.

Let me know if that helps.

Jeremy, I too have this issue going on. I was not able to connect to any publicize today and was asked to refresh all my connections. I did that with no success and now I followed these directions and was able to disconnect, but unable to reconnect. PLEASE HELP as now everything seems screwed up???

This is the error I’m getting when I try to reconnect:

Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: token_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.
    Couldn’t resolve host ‘jetpack.wordpress.com’

Jeremy, when this is reconnected, do I have to reestablish all my users that were subscribed? Do I have to reset up all of Jetpack again. Ugh!

Well my site finally came back up. I had to disconnect Jetpack and reconnect. But I also had to deactivate the comments area and reactivate to work which was strange. The sharing seems to be working now as I did a quick test, but I’m going to leave this comment open until tomorrow just to make sure if that’s ok?

No, your settings will be back as soon as you reconnect.

That seems like a weird issue indeed. Do not hesitate to start your own thread if this happens again!
