Jeremy.com – Upgrade/Installation Not Working… Baffled. :-)

  • Database Name – using the MySQL server IP address.
    User Name – correct, verified
    Password – correct, verified

    What else could I be doing wrong? :-/

    This error message:

    Error establishing a database connection

    indicates that WP cannot find the database info it needs to proceed.

    When you created the database and user, did you remember to ADD the user to the database? I forget that step all the time. ??

    argh.

    i have the correct username and password information.

    my web host is very much not helpful. i’ve been on the phone with 3 customer service reps. now the site is temp unavailable.
