Out of nowhere, I lost my ability to edit pages in Elementor Pro 3.13.2. After deactivating all plugins and re-activating one at a time, Jeg seems to be the culprit. With it activated both viewing the page in the browser AND trying to edit it in Elementor result in the following message being displayed in the browser window

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at [email protected] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

The following errors are reflected in the debug log:

[14-Jun-2023 19:52:19 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in /home/me/example.com/wp-content/plugins/elementor/includes/base/controls-stack.php on line 1171
[14-Jun-2023 19:52:21 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in /home/me/example.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5308

I’ve tried this with a blank template page (so nothing should take anywhere close to execute) and got the same results.

NONE of these errors occur when Jeg is deactivated.

In Elementor –> System Info –> Log there were a bunch of entries saying allowed memory had been exhausted. I increased the memory and those errors went away.

Any ideas as to what the cause may be?

    Hello @daveh0,

We apologize for the delay in responding. Could you please let us know your WP Memory Limit setting? If you’re willing to provide it, you can share your system status information here.

    https://elementor.com/help/systems-info/

In the past, Elementor has specified server requirements, so we recommend increasing the WP Memory Limit to 512MB (if it’s not already set to that value), as recommended by Elementor themselves.

    https://elementor.com/help/requirements/

    We hope this method helps.

    Thank You
