Javascript – Programatically Submit a Form

Is it possible to use Javascript to trigger form submission? Or is there some built in method I’m not seeing?

I have a feedback form that asks if the user found the page helpful. If they click yes, I’d like the form to submit automatically instead of forcing the user to also click submit.
