I haven’t been paying much attention to this website lately, so when I happened to bring up this page yesterday, I noticed that it wasn’t working properly. After a lot of testing, I determined that the problem was caused by Javascript not working. ( There is another script on this page in the footer, which is supposed to show the copyright year, and it is not working either. )

I narrowed down what is causing the problem, but I don’t know how to fix it. It is not a browser problem – I tried it on Internet Explorer and Chrome, and the problem occurs there also. It is not caused by the theme – I tried it using Twenty Twenty, and it doesn’t work using that either. I think the problem must be with WordPress itself.

I am going to try using the script on one of my other websites, and see if it works there.

In the meantime, does anybody have an idea of how to get Javascript back?

    Your site references this:

    https://your-homeremedies.professorsopportunities.com/include/index.js

But that file does not exist (404). As that’s not a WordPress core file location, you’ll need to look through your own backups, etc, to see if you can find it.

Thank you, Steven. I can’t believe that the solution is so simple, or that I didn’t notice it!

I use CuteFTP, and the whole time I was investigating this issue I had both /include/ files sitting next to each other – and I never noticed it was missing on the server side!!!

It takes an outsider sometimes to notice something so obvious! Thanks again!
