• Hey folks!

I have implemented the responsive theme onto my website which can be found here:

    https://www.lucindateam.com

I have an issue though with the javascript menu that comes up when you scale down the site to mobile size. It just doesn’t appear at all? Does anyone have any idea why that is? I would think this is something in the header.php file, but I did a file compare of the child theme and the parent theme and there are subtle differences, but I would swap the changes out to make them in sync and still no result. other than display issues with the menu items.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

    Regards,

    Josh

If there is no issue on the theme’s demo website then try deactivating plugins to explore whether any could be responsible.

Well, I tried turning off all of the plugins, and that showed no difference… However, I tried switching to the actual responsive theme (parent theme) and the whole page broke (white screen). perhaps it is a bad download? I’ll try re-downloading the theme

Now I get the following Error:

    Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.
    Name Description
    Responsive Template is missing.

Where are you downloading it from?

From within wordpress, I guess I should just download it from the browser. ??

ok, now I have a bigger picture here… So I downloaded responsive theme straight from my browser and installed it manually. When I try to load it, I get a broken page. Additionally, the child theme I created, is the one that gave that error above. Claiming I am “missing a template” file.

Check whether you need to change the “template” name and “@import” value to another name.

Edit: Oops, sorry forgot to say, “Check whether you need to change the Child Theme style.css … ”

Yeah, I changed all of that information. I got the child-theme back up and running. but what bothers me is that the main theme doesn’t work at all. If I switch to it, all I get is a white screen.

I recommend letting Responsive theme’s forums know of this issue. It sounds like an issue with the theme itself.

Ah, I thought that was where I was, ok thanks i’ll ask there. ??
