    Hi there,

I’m writing to let you folks know that Yoast 9.7 appears to be incompatible with the latest version of the Avada theme. It causes numerous JavaScript issues that I was only able to resolve after hours of banging my head against the wall, followed by disabling Yoast SEO.

The issues seemed to be localized to the admin area when creating/editing Posts and Pages. I’ve filmed a quick screencapture video that documents the problem. I will be happy to email it, but I do not want to post it in a public place.

I love your plugin. I’ve been using it for years across many sites and this is the first issue I’ve had with. So no hard feelings. I just wanted to let you know.

Let me know what other information you need from me.

We have a few open reports of conflicts between Avada and Yoast SEO here. If the issue you’re experiencing is not in the list, Based on the information you provided, we actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new issue for our developers here. You will need an account to create a new issue. Don’t forget to include the URL to this conversation in your bug report.

If you have not submitted an issue previously, this guide will help you submit a complete report which may result in a faster resolution.
