Java error

I am using this product with a template from Mojo Themes (https://www.mojo-themes.com/item/aisle-business-portfolio-wordpress-theme/)
I have this setup using a password on each file, about 200 files here

Using the above template, when I click on a file to download it, nothing happens (ie I don’t get asked for a password). When using the standard Twenty Eleven theme, this feature works fine. As the client needs to use his files, I have the template set to the Twenty Eleven, but we need to get this to work with the other template.
Does anyone have a thought on this, the developer has not responded to a support ticket via their website. Any help would be welcome.
