J Short Codes in Theme Footer

I am trying to use j shortcode (jshortcodes.com) in my theme footer. The short codes are not picked up in the footer file, only in a post or page.

Can any one tell me how I would go about adding the short code in the footer. I want to add a 4 column table with formatting.

I found the function in the plugin editor but can’t figure it out.
