    Since I have update WordPress 4.4 I got error message:

    Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible

    Error Details: The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site https://tarjiem.com [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate]

    There is no problem when my site in share hosting and move to vps, Nginx+php 5.5+mariaDB, support by webuzo, before update into 4.4

    But this error occur when my wordpress update into 4.4 in December 8, 2015 ago. Then, I deactivated jetpact.

    I have try to change Twenty Sixteen themes, but the I still cannot use jetpack plugin.

    Thank you very much.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Something seems wrong with your domain’s SSL configuration. You can find out more about it here:
    https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=tarjiem.com&latest

    I’d recommend checking your certificate’s configuration; once you get rid of these errors, you should be all set!

    You can also check how your SSL certificate performs on your own machine, if you run an up-to-date version of OpenSSL, like so:
    openssl s_client -connect tarjiem.com:443

    You’ll want to avoid responses like this one:

    CONNECTED(00000003)
    depth=0 OU = Domain Control Validated, OU = PositiveSSL, CN = tarjiem.com
    verify error:num=20:unable to get local issuer certificate
    verify return:1
    depth=0 OU = Domain Control Validated, OU = PositiveSSL, CN = tarjiem.com
    verify error:num=27:certificate not trusted
    verify return:1
    depth=0 OU = Domain Control Validated, OU = PositiveSSL, CN = tarjiem.com
    verify error:num=21:unable to verify the first certificate
    verify return:1

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you for your reply Jeremy.

    Sadly, until today, I can not install jetpack plugin. Still the same error message.

    I hope if there will be an update of jetpack or maybe update for wordpress version, it will be help.

    I will try to reissue my ssl certificate. Hopefully it is works.
    Thanks.

    I’m afraid no Jetpack or WordPress update will solve that issue for you. As long as your domain’s SSL certificate isn’t properly set up, you will run into the same error message when third-party services like WordPress.com have to communicate with your site.

    This problem is because of my SSL configuration.
    Thank you Jeremy.
