I've lost my HTML Tab

    I’m in the process of writing a new blog. I’ve gone to insert some HTML and when I’ve looked to change my view from Visual to HTML the tab has disappeared!
    Anyone got any ideas where I can find it!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?

    Hi, thanks for your suggestions. I went for the ‘wipe the whole lot method’! lol! I cleared everything out and uploaded the latest version of WP. Has taken a while to import the posts etc again and do a bit of tidying up but all my buttons now appear to be in place!
