I've been locked out of my site since July 2011

I love my WordPress website, but I haven’t been able to access it since July 13, 2011, when I started getting a “Error 500 – Internal server error” every time I tried to log in to it. I don’t understand all the technical instructions I’ve read, and I wind up in tears every time I try to fix the problem myself. Can someone please help me? Thanks ~ Joanne (jmfarro)
