Hello,

Since few days the RSS feed of my podcast has several errors.

in the itunes:summary, if the description has more than 4000 chars the text is truncated, but the close tag of CDATA are not in wright place.

    Example :

    <itunes:summary>Hello,

Blablabla 4000 chars Youtube, mon </itunes:summary>

    It should be here

    <itunes:summary>Hello,

Blablabla 4000 chars Youtube, mon </itunes:summary>

I have asked the Blubrry dev team to look at your question. A response will be posted here as soon as they’ve had a chance to do so.

Here’s what the dev team had to say about your question: “I identified his server is using some sort of caching, if he is using a caching plugin or a service with his host then every step he takes during diagnosing he will need to clear the cache. His feed for example has been changed since August 29th.

I double checked the code in PowerPress and anywhere we call the CDATA section we end it with , his feed does not have this which means something is manipulating the feed after PowerPress added the content.”

This page has suggestions on how to diagnose this kind of situation:
