Could you please tell me where to put the link to my iTunes Poster Image? I use it to supply the header image on my mobile app. It was easy to find in the previous versions of Powerpress but now I can’t see the option! Please help. Thanks.

In the new episode box in the post, once you have your file linked there is an image tab. That is where you uplaod the episode image.

Forgot to add: After uploading our linking your image, hit Continue and then you will see the tab for the image.

Thanks Mike but I’m actually referring to the iTunes Poster Image not the Episode Image. The iTunes Poster Image is listed just BELOW the Duration label and above the Media Embed box on the old interface. It say’s Poster image for video (m4v, mp4, ogv, webm, etc..). That’s the link I need to insert. It’s not restricted to being square.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi Rick,

    Thanks for using PowerPress!

Today, we released PowerPress 8.2.2 to address a few bugs, including one that was hiding the poster image setting from all new posts.

If you update your plugin to this newest version, you should see the poster image setting just below the “Apple Podcast Episode Artwork” setting in the “Episode Artwork” tab, so long as you are using a video file for your media (one with any of the file extensions you listed above). This setting will still be hidden from posts with audio-only media (ex. mp3 files)

    Thank you,
    Ben

    Thanks Ben,
However, as I’m using the image link to supply a Header Image for my independent Mobile App which uses WordPress and Powerpress to supply the content, I actually need that option to show up even when I’m using an MP3 file. Is there anyway that we can add that in with the same warning as before i.e. Note: Poster image for video (m4v, mp4, ogv, webm, etc..). Please!! ??

    Thanks for your help

Oh my goodness! You did it already! I’m amazed! The link is there in version 8.2.2 and it works! Brilliant. Thanks so much!
