Please ensure you’re running the latest versions of PowerPress and WordPress. Then, go to PowerPress >> Settings, Advanced Mode >> Destinations and copy/paste the URL for your iTunes Store listing into the iTunes Subscription URL box. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

No problem! I took a look at the page linked to in the original post and I see the iTunes link is now working properly.

Thank you for the review! Have a great weekend.

I’m having the same problem, but I do have the iTunes subscription entered into the correct box. The other subscribe widget works.

If you click on the powerpress player iTunes subscribe button on the episode page, it just opens a new window with the player again.

@rachovenov: 1.) Log into your Blubrry Podcaster Dashboard on the Blubrry website.
2.) Click the Listing Settings link inside the Directory Listing box.
3.) Copy/paste your ENTIRE iTunes Store URL (starting with https) into the iTunes Listing URL box and click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

This should fix the iTunes link within the Blubrry Media Player. If you don’t see the change right away, clear your browser cache and reload the page.

I’m having the same problem. I tried all of the solutions recommended and it’s still not working. When I click the iTunes link on my podcast post from my website (https://podcastbrunchclub.com/episode2/) it just opens iTunes on my PC (but doesn’t load the podcast page) and it gives me an error if I click the link from Safari on my iPhone.

    Hello @adelamizrach,

Until you set your iTunes Subscribe URL under the Destinations tab in PowerPress, the feed URL is used which only works with PC version of iTunes Desktop app.

    Find your iTunes URL
Find the email from iTunes of your podcast submission being approved. In this email you will be provided a unique subscribe link, it will look like the following example: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/geek-news-central-audio/id73331167.

Set the iTunes subscribe URL in PowerPress
1.) in WordPress, go to PowerPress Settings page.
    2.) Click the Destinations tab.
3.) Copy/paste your iTunes subscribe URL into the iTunes subscribe URL box and click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Thanks, @amandato. I’ve already done what you suggested and I’m still having the issue. It’s simply opening iTunes to the last view that I had open.

    Hello @adelamizrachi,

You do not appear to be using PowerPress. That may be part of the issue.

The URL to your listing on iTunes, e.g. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/geek-news-central-audio/id73331167 is what makes the subscribe on iTunes work. If you never populate that field with the appropriate link issued by Apple then the links will not work correctly. We do have a search tool in PowerPress Settings where you enter the iTunes subscribe URL if you do not know what the URL is, you can use that search to find it on iTunes.

    Thanks!
