I recently enabled HTTPS on my WordPress site using a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate. The website seems fine, but it seems that iTunes has an error with my feed accessible here: https://chainskills.com/feed/podcast/

Apparently the feed cannot be recognized because of some obscure SSL error that I don’t understand.

Is there something special to do so that Powerpress exposes a feed that remains compatible with iTunes?

The feed loads OK in a web browser. But I get “error resolving feed address” when I try to validate the feed in CastFeedValidator. There may be an issue with the implementation of the SSL. Contact support for your web hosting provider and see if they can check their logs to determine what’s going on.

This is a dedicated server. I have full control over it. I simply used certbot to generate and configure my SSL certificate on Apache.

I’m not sure this is really a PowerPress issue, as it seems like there’s a problem with the SSL implementation. Regardless, I have asked the lead developer of PowerPress to look at your question. A response will be posted here as soon as he’s had a chance to look at it.

OK, so apparently Angelo did look at this thread already. His response was:

“This is not a PowerPress issue, it is an SSL one.

    Send him this: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=chainskills.com

There are multiple issues with the SSL that need addressed. The intermediate chain issue needs to be addressed for Apple, possibly the other SSL issues need to be fixed as well before it will work correctly.”
