    I’ve just moved to another site,
    I had a licence valid for another 6 months on my previous site
    unfortunately you’re forcing me to buy a new one
    it’s theft
    What’s more, it’s impossible for me to change my email address.

    Hi, contact the support on https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com this forum is only to support the free Newsletter plugin, I cannot help with license or other commercial issues here.

    BTW, titling a support request “it’s theft” don’t seems to be adequate: if you have a valid license the ticket system on the official site can be used with your account and if you’re not able to recover your account, you can contact them for help.

    I see that I’m not the only one who has a problem with the fact that the authors of this plugin treat you with respect only when they take money from you.

    @penseelibre if you have a license you have an account on https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com. From your account page you can open a ticket to get support for this issue. If you cannot open a ticket or have generally problem with the account, write to support [at] thenewsletterplugin [dot] com adding a reference to this thread.

    Stefano maybe you don’t know it but after sending a support request the reply is:

    “Hello, we have received your request about The Newsletter Plugin.

    Please note that this channel is not for support requests, if you need first-grade support, you may take a look at our premium plans here.

    We kindly ask you to take a look at our support forums (if you haven’t yet), because your issue could have already been answered before.

    On my account I can load my licence, but it’s a licence that has become free, so I’m being asked to buy a “new” plugin.

    as mashki you said so well, you have to go to the forums, there’s no provision for individual replies
    it’s already noticeable that on my account there’s a list of plugins to load, but not the paid version!
    so it’s deliberate: to get the maximum amount of money from people

    I am in the process of building a new sales site, by transferring it from my previous site,
    You should know that it’s impossible to build a whole site in a few days, and that newsletter isn’t one of my priorities. There are others first, and I’m not going to list them all here.

    I find it interesting that the plugin authors refer paying customers (of which I am one) to their website. And yet, when I go there and click Support >> Getting Help in the main menu, I’m transferred to a page titled How Can We Help You. At the bottom of that page is another link to Submit a Ticket. And yet, when I click that link, I get the General Information page with no option to submit a ticket. Sadly, I have to agree with mashki. I can understand not wanting every nonpaying customer to submit their questions to support, but for crying out loud, can’t you make it possible for your PAYING customers to get in touch with you?

    So I have to tell you what happened next. I contacted a manager on their site to ask for my key (valid until next June).
    They started by telling me (by email) that I didn’t know them, and that in any case they didn’t have “my” key. I also told them that I was going to change ‘supplier’.
    I expressed my surprise and told them that I kept my customers’ purchases for several years. They remained silent. I contacted them again by replying to their email to get MY key.
    They replied that they didn’t know me!
    I insisted, finally, I’ll pass on a few details, they found my key and it was good and everything works normally on my site.

    Hi, users with an active license can go to the account page and use the “my tickets page” to see all the opened tickets and add new ones. A ticket can be submitted to this page, for example:

    If the license is not active the support is not provided by tickets but using the public forum, mainly, or the contact form:

    https://www.thenewsletterplugin.com/forums/forum/newsletter-plugin

    As I can understand @islandwriter has an active license but the tickets are not working even when logged in. Please write me at stefano [at] thenewsletterplugin [dot] com reporting the license number. Could but you’re logged in with the wrong account.

    Same situation for @penseelibre: I’m waiting a message to solve the problem.

    Yes, we were writing at the same time, I saw your message after sending mine. Happy to know it’s not a theft but just a problem of having more than one account.
