its ok.. but Some things break websites

  • So well it kinda works.. but then if you try to disable it without any Number in the DAYS box… the whole site goes down error 500 and ya..
    Good thing is i finally figured out why my own codes i was trying to add didnt work…
    this whole time i was using htaccess and not .htaccess …. So well it does work but be careful how you disable it and it could be my hsot but gzip prevents page from loading has well
    overall works but could be Better noob proof and once u realise what u need to do sorry but this aint needed

    Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with this plugin. At the same time thank you for your 3 star rating ??

    Can you elaborate more about your issue? For example did it conflict with a plugin or theme? Did you enable gzip compression and that caused an issue with your server?

    You did mentioned the following. Can you elaborate more about this?

    gzip made my theme simply not want to load but the site was functional just not loading
    But When i accidentally saved with no Numbers in the Days box to turn to disable it all it simply gave me an Error 500 , until i manually went back to input a date
    which i didn’t know how it seems and can only assume alot more noobish people then me might use this and freak out seeing a error 500 at 3 am
    But has i said the good thing of that is that it did help me realise the hours of perfect codes i been researching..that i was wondering why they dont work is because ya.. i was not using the proper .htaccess file haha so hence the stars and it still does what it is suposed to do
    It simply really should be better noob proof, do not allow the plugin to save if no value is entred in box or put 1 day by default
    And gzip well it could be hostgator not allowing it i am still researching about that

    oh and what i really mean is after years of using my sites always wondering why my htaccess codes i research dont work.. well was because somehow i ended up with a htaccess without the .htaccess and there was the hidden one from ‘show hidden (dotfiles)’ that this all made me discovered hence why no degative out of it sure made me freak out and stay up but hoy now i finally can do things i was headbanging to understand why it wouldnt work
