    <p class=””>I have no idea how this was overlooked, but the fact that shortcodes don’t render in AMP pages is awful. The purpose of shortcodes is to generate content! I can see how some may incorrectly render and break AMP compliance, but that’s the website owner’s problem, not AMP’s. I have to write code to parse my shortcodes and render the output in AMP. <br><br>Side note: I think this could also be a good best practice in developing shortcodes… adding an amp=”content to render if amp” variable within a shortcode. At a minimum, I should have an option to “Support Shortcodes” in the AMP plugin.</p>
