It’s all gone…or is it?

  • Please someone direct me to an existing thread or topic. I tried to install the upgrade to 2.6 followed the instructions but get this error:

    Warning: require(/home/username/public_html/wp-includes/compat.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/username/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 202

    Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/username/public_html/wp-includes/compat.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/username/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 202

    I’ve substituted my actual username for this example, but it is there on the screen I see. Any suggestions?
