Absolutely! I followed all the steps mentioned in the Copy N’ Paste documentation. I opened both the Elementor sites in Chrome side-by-side, I even tried the same browser tab one-by-one. I tried it in Edge browser as well. However, nothing worked! It just pasted the empty columns in the destination site. If there are any other steps to follow, please inform, I’ll try them as well.

I really wish it would work because it’s a great feature for someone who regularly works with Elementor. But, so far, it does not! ??

I hope you will resolve the issue. I will surely change my rating, if you can make it work between cross-domains!

May I ask what widgets do you have in your columns and were not copy to the destination ite? This will help us to reproduce the issue on our end.

It’s a Project Isotope for portfolio pages. That’s all I have tried so far because that’s what I needed on another site. Since it didn’t work on that after many tries, I simply gave up. I’ll give it a try again when you resolve the issue.

Please let me clarify what is causing that. Actually, Copy N’ Paste widget can copy only the content that is saved on the editor page itself. Meaning that it can’t copy content that is saved on your database. For example, if you’re trying to copy a section that contains Premium Blog widget, the widget will be copied/pasted with the exact same settings, but the posts themselves will not be copied because they are saved in your database, so they can’t be copied from one website to another.

You can test Copy N’ Paste feature by creating a section that includes Premium Team Members, add all the settings you want, then use Copy N’ Paste features.

I hope you got the point that the issue is not related to Copy N’ Paste feature itself, but the ability to copy content that is saved in database.

It’s basically just content and image in a section. That’s all! Nothing is saved in the database. Even if it doesn’t copy the image, it should copy-paste the remaining at least. Something like this https://photos.app.goo.gl/kNZmehiXDp4L9H3y8

Also, may I ask did you try to copy/paste content with all plugins deactivated except Elementor and Premium Addons?

I am having the same issue in Chrome/Mac – cross-domain copy-paste only pastes in colors and settings, not the actual content. I only have elementor/pro and plus addons/pro activated and the widget is also enabled.

Importing the template json results in same. Is there a Chrome setting that needs to be changed?
