• I think it’s a good add-on, but it costs more than what’s listed. I bought it for 29USD, but more than 29USD was deducted from my account. USD was converted to EUR, then EUR to HUF. This is an exchange rate fraud. I complained, they canceled my license, but I didn’t get my money back.

    To this day I have not received my money back. You cheated me of my money.

The extra amount that was deducted from your account is a result of the payment gateway’s currency conversion process. When transactions are processed internationally, especially when involving multiple currencies, payment gateways often apply their own exchange rates and conversion fees. This can lead to variations in the final charged amount when converted to different currencies like EUR and then HUF. We, as the seller, do not have control over these currency conversion aspects managed by the payment gateway.

    In terms of the extra charges, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Since the extra charges were incurred due to the payment gateway’s currency conversion practices, we recommend reaching out to your financial institution or the payment gateway’s customer support to discuss the issue and explore potential refund options.

    Regarding the cancellation of your license, it seems that you are a Personal (1 Site) license user. It’s a recurring license plan and it appears that the automatic renewal was linked to your PayPal account. When you deleted your PayPal account, the automatic renewal subscription was understandably removed as well. This cancellation of automatic renewal does not affect the validity of the license key that you already have. Your license key remains active, and you can continue using it on your website without any interruptions. Currently, the license seems to be active on the domain and you can keep using it.

    Though payment gateways charged the conversion rate and we had no control over it, still we refunded the full amount. The refunded amount will be returned to your account within a few business days.

    My license key has been inactive for 10 days. And I didn’t get my money back either. Multiple currency conversions are against the law in the European Union. Last week I bought an add-on from another website and they charged my account in the original USD currency. It should have been the same for you. PayPal did not deal with my complaint. I will issue a press release about the incident on my website tonight. In detail, with screenshots, account statements, documents. I’m sorry it turned out that way. You have created an excellent extension, but it is fraud to deduct more from my account than the product cost in the cart.

    Let me explain to clear up the confusion. The status is shown as ‘Cancelled‘ in the screenshot indicates the auto-renewal of the license has been canceled. We explained it to your support ticket that you opened on our premium support forum. It was a recurring license plan and it appeared that the automatic renewal was linked to your PayPal account. When you deleted your PayPal account, the automatic renewal subscription was understandably removed as well. As you removed your payment method (PayPal) from your account, the Auto-renewal process was canceled automatically.

    As you were asking for a refund, we have taken immediate action and refunded the full amount. Our system automatically refunded the amount to the payment method linked to your account. Check the screenshot for a better understanding. We have clearly explained to you that the currency conversion rate is not in our hands. It’s mostly the payment method used and they charge the money. We have no control over it.

    Yes, we have no problem if you raise the issue to PayPal and they will be able to give you a better explanation of the transaction. You can also contact them why the refund was not placed in your account. As you deleted your PayPal, there might be a way to recover the automatic refund sent to them. Hopefully, they can give you a better insight.

    Because we refunded the whole payment immediately, the license was automatically disabled, and it is no longer usable. However, we understand how frustrating this can be and we hope the payment gateway will suggest you a solution.
