iThemes Security Plugin

I installed iThemes security into my wordpress. I have followed several videos on how to set it up. I can’t seem to get the hide backend to work nor the two factor. They both worked the first time after setting up and then they don’t work anymore. I have also deactivated ALL of my plug ins and that didn’t change anything,. I’m not sure what else I can do to fix this.
