iThemes Security Keeps Messing Up My Permalinks!
-
This has been a problem in EVERY version I’ve used of this plugin, including the paid, premium edition. Can you PLEASE do something to stop the htaccess updates from overwriting permalink settings in htaccess, or else tell me where I can move my permalinks code to in htaccess so this will stop happening? I’m having to re-save my Permalinks settings every single day to update htaccess after your plugin has changed it, but even THAT won’t totally eliminate the problem.
It’s incredibly frustrating to have ALL my site permalinks broken EVERY TIME your security plugin adds new banned entries to htaccess. Links that are already out there on social media are broken until the next time I happen to post or visit my site, or am alerted by an annoyed site visitor that my links are broken. I can go re-save my permalinks settings every single day (and HAVE been, thanks to this problem), but if the plugin writes to htaccess anytime after my daily re-save, all my links are broken AGAIN.
