ithemes security erased my wp-config file.

    I upgraded ithemes today to the latest version and shortly thereafter ithemes security completely replaced my wp-config.php file with only these lines:

    // BEGIN iThemes Security – Ne pas modifier ou supprimer cette ligne
    // iThemes Security Config Details: 2
    define( ‘DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT’, true ); // Désactiver l’éditeur de fichier – Sécurité > Réglages > Modifications de WordPress > éditeur de fichier
    // END iThemes Security – Ne pas modifier ou supprimer cette ligne

    No more database access. Of course WP crashed. Took me a while to understand what was going on.

    This was done at the exact same second as ithemes did changes in .htaccess.

    same thing happend to one of my sites today and it took me a while to figure it out! The whole site just through errors, of course, as the whole WP setup was removed from the config file!

    Yes. And you see my bug report was ignored…

    There is no point in reporting bugs in this forum since iThemes does not monitor it (as stated in the FAQ section of the readme).

    Instead report the bug here.
