    Hi,

I recently noticed that my Zapier.com integration breaks whenever iThemes Security plugin is enabled.

Could this be due to one or more settings inside iThemes Security that blocks requests to/from Zapiers services?

E.g. filter long query URLS or what settings could be causing my issues?

Any solutions if I wan’t to keep the plugin active?

    Thank you.
    Jes

  • Hi ja152,

The Filter long URLs setting no longer exists since the 8.0 release.

If enabled, try and disable the PHP Execution setting for the plugins, themes and/or uploads folder (in the order listed).

Security > Settings > Advanced > System Tweaks

If the information above helped you solve the issue please mark this topic as “Resolved”.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay.

I did try to switch off the settings referred to but iThemes Security are still blocking my Zapier integration. I wrote Zapier who confirmed issues with iThemes Security. This is the list of plug-ins that are known to cause issues according to Zapier:

“Jetpack, Wordfence Security, iThemes Security, WP Rocket, JWT Auth, WP-SpamShield, WP Content Copy Protection & No Right Click, Limit Login Attempts Reloaded, SiteGuard WP Plugin, IP Geo Block, WPS Hide Login, reCaptcha by BestWebSoft, Profile Builder.”

Could iThemes please look into this?

I can try to disable more security settings if needed but if I disable all of them iThemes Security won’t be very effective protecting my site. I think there’s a compatibility issue between the plugin and Zapier.

    Hi @jdj,

Could you please try disabling the Default Ban List feature(Security > Settings > Configure > Lockouts) and see if it helps?
