    Hi,

I have a urgent issue that I need a solution to.

For some reason iThemes Security tends to aggressively block important crawler IP’s that revisit the site for good purposes and IP’s associated with integrations using Zapier.

Looking at the iThemes Settings, how can I be sure that IP’s from these crawlers and intergrations aren’t being blocked?

There’s an Authorized Hosts under Global Settings but these whitelist IP’s’ seems to be related to whenever an administrator user accesses the website iThemes Security will temporarily allow that Host for 24 hours. I’m not sure this is the right solution. We tried this on a different website that blocked Zapier request and it wasn’t enough so we had to uninstall iThemes Security all together.

Looking forward to your response and solution to this IP blocking issue.

    Thanks.

  • Hi @jdj,

This seems to be a continuation of the issue as previously reported in this topic. No luck with the last provided suggestion in that topic?

Do note it may take up to an hour (max) before that suggestion has the desired impact on the content of the .htaccess file.

+++++ To prevent any confusion, I’m not iThemes +++++
