iThemes preventing background updates

My Site Health indicated there was a problem with background updates running. I’ve narrowed down the issue to this plugin by turning my plugins on one by one.

Issue first popped up a few weeks ago. Everything is up to date. Running same set of plugins on a different wordpress site with no issue. Any ideas how to fix? I like using iThemes and would like to continue using it.

Other associated error messages include a REST API 403 error and loopback request couldn’t be completed.

All of these messages go away when iThemes is disabled.
