    I saw this post of another user about too many Database Backups. Can you check if there are too many backups being created?

    I think your next steps are trying to pinpoint which part of iThemes is giving you trouble. Try disabling all features and enabling them one by one to find what is causing this issue.

    Hello guys! this is my update!

    I disable File Change Detection feature and the problem stops.

    Thanks for the ideas @aehageman and @toulouse

    Although i don’t think this is a solution. I think this is a big problem because is one of the most important features of the plugin. And i used to have it working perfectly before wordpress updated. So there is a problem with the plugin.

    Thanks you guys!

    @vizcano

    File Change Detection (FCD) works fine in both WordPress 4.4.2 and 4.5.2.
    So it looks like it is a FCD specific issue IN YOUR ENV.

    Check your web server error_log for any errors.

    Post the data from any available FCD entries from the Logs page (Select Filter: –> File Change History).

    Try and enable the Split File Scanning setting (if not already).

    hi @dewinden

    thanks for the explanation, i only found one error log message

    “client denied by server configuration: /home/vpro/public_html/wp-admin/install.php”

    i dont think that is from ithemes

    any other idea?

    thanks

    @vizcano

    Actually it is related to the iTSec plugin. But it’s related to a different setting (System Tweaks -> System Files) which is not relevant
    for this topic.

    Try my other ideas.
